Burberry is always on the lookout for Payroll professionals, fluent in an additional language such as; German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish or Russian to join our Leeds Corporate Office. Within this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities relating to monthly payroll covering groups of employees to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time and that all statutory and contractual obligations are met.



About the role;


  • Liaise with HR and senior managers ensuring that all payroll activities remain compliant e.g.: External/Internal Audit requirements.
  • Act as a process expert and point of escalation for any payroll administration activities and will provide guidance and support to Administrators within the team.
  • To ensure that agreed KPI’s and SLA’s are in met and adhered to whilst driving a continuous improvement mind-set.
  • Complete monthly reconciliation of Inland Revenue end of year requirements, ensuring statutory reporting requirements are met.
  • Additional payroll activities including but not only limited to: transferring data to Payroll Finance, any additional payroll runs, manual deductions, making payroll adjustments, manual payment, managing cut off dates etc.



     About You: ​  


  • Fluent in English & German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish or Russian   

  • Payroll certification, or equivalent experience level

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office   

  • Ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines  

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
